Coming up: Brownlee in March

Good news! Tickets for world-renowned tenor Lawrence Brownlee’s March 19 concert are now on sale! The venue is UNCW’s Beckwith Recital Hall, where you’ll not only see Mr. Brownlee up close, but will not miss a note or a word, thanks to the recital hall’s wonderful acoustics.

Mr. Brownlee, fresh from two star turns with the Philadelphia Opera and the Chicago Lyric Opera this fall, will perform Rising, a new program of songs by a variety of Black composers. He will also linger after the concert for a VIP reception, for which tickets are available as well.

We’re sure to sell out, so secure your tickets today by ordering online or by calling Kenan Box Office at UNCW starting in January. Box office hours are noon to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

Kids’ Corner

Fun With Opera

Know a middle- or high-schooler who loves to sing and act? Opera Wilmington’s Opera Camp resumes in June 2021 after taking a hiatus – sadly – this summer. Check out pictures of past camps and the children’s choruses for La Bohème and Hansel and Gretel, our most recent productions.

Opera Wilmington’s Auction

Check out the choices!

We’re very excited to bring you our second annual online silent auction, with items and services ranging from jewelry to artwork to restaurant gift cards to teeth whitening! The auction closes at 5 p.m. August 1.

The link is below. Bid early and often!
