FIND YOUR STYLE – MARK SORENSEN, OPERA WILMINGTON COSTUME DESIGNER

Getting ready to update your wardrobe? Shop with your own fashion consultant! Take Mark Sorensen, professor of costume design at UNCW and Opera Wilmington’s own fabulous costumer, along with you! Mark will advise you on the styles, colors and combinations that are most flattering to you.

Mark, a member of the UNCW Theatre Department faculty since 2006, has worked on Broadway shows and national tours, designed extensively in regional theatres, and is a proud member of United Scenic Artists Costume Design Union.

Having more recently worked as an assistant professor at Denison University and as an adjunct professor at The University of Cincinnati, Mark was actively involved with the Cincinnati Opera, the Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Playhouse, working at all levels of costume production.
