“FOOD OF LOVE” NECKLACE – T.S. BROWN JEWELRY
Designed by Lauren Elliot, this sterling silver treble clef bears the inscription, “If music be the food of love, play on,” the lovesick Count Orsino’s opening line from Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night.
The necklace was donated to the auction by T.S. Brown Jewelry is located in the Cotton Exchange on Front Street in downtown Wilmington. The business is operated by Tim and Sandy Brown, who combine their artistic abilities to create original jewelry in gold and silver. In addition to their original work, they also offer the creations of many fine jewelry craftspeople from around the country.
